Can't Handle The CUTENESS!!!!!

Took this pic today! LOVE IT! She is 4 months old today too. :)

15 weeks (3 1/2 months)

Amy rolled over today!! I had her in her crib on her belly and she rolled onto her back!!! I am so proud of my little one!!!!

Amy also got a crib the other day, so now she is sleeping in her own room. I kinda miss her being in my room, but at the same time it's nice to have alone time in the bedroom w/ my DH.

3 months

I am still here! I just have trouble getting on the internet for longer than a few minutes. Amy and I are doing great! I love her smiles and giggles so much! here are some pics!

Week 3

So I have been a mommy now for three weeks. I have to say, things are going pretty well. Amy is sleeping a few hours at a time in the night and is getting used to sleeping in her bassinet. (Thank God!) Also, breast feeding is going great. I feel like I am nursing all the time, but at this stage in the game, that is what is supposed to be going on. She is even getting a little chunky. :)

I am getting used to having her around. I am just getting the hang of getting her off the boob and into a bouncy seat without waking her up. So I should be able to get a bit more done around the house. I know my DH will be happy about that!

My incision is getting better...there is a spot on the end that is still open even though the doctor cauterized it. I am going to have my DH take a look at it when he gets home tonight or in the morning though. I can see a spot in it that is not red like my flesh, kinda is white or green. (hard to see myself!) So I am hoping it's not getting a little infected. I may put some peroxide on it before bed to see if that helps.

Right now Amy is asleep. I gave her a bath with lavender stuff in it, the boob and stuck her in bed. I hope she says asleep for a while!!

I love being a mom!

So this is day 11, and things are going pretty well. We are getting great at breast feeding! Her weight went up past her birth weight! Go boobies!! She is sleeping pretty well at night time, gets up every two hours or so. I am not doing as well as she is, my incision from the c-section is infected. I am going to the doctor today to get that looked at. I hope it's noting too serious.

Amy had her first bath today, and she seemed to like it! She didn't cry until we were out of the tub, and I was getting her dressed. And I think the only reason why she did that was because she was getting cold. :)

Not much time to post, I need to go feed her, but dilivery was by a c-section. (not planed) but she is healthy and I am now too, I will post the story later though. Here are some pics to hold you over!! More to come soon!

39 weeks 5 days

So at the doctor's office today I was 2 cm dilated and 80% effaced. She thinks I may go into labor before I have my next appointment on Tuesday. I hope I do!!!

loosing my mucus plug!

EWWW!! It's not a big plug like I thought it would be, just constantly slimy down there. It's like a runny nose but from the wrong end! EW! But at least I know I am making progress! This all happened once i started using the yoga ball. So hopefully I will have her soon. But I have heard it does not necessarily mean that labor is near.

39 Week update

So I am 39 weeks pregnant! One more week till my due date!!! So excited! So I went to the doctor today and I am now 1 1/2 cm dilated, and 75% effaced! I had a NST and another u/s done today and Amy is looking great!! Can't wait to meet her!! My back is hurting so bad right now, actually it's more my butt, but it's all connected right? Oh well it will be over soon and I will have a sweet little girl in my arms. :)

38 weeks

So here is my 38 week picture. I like it a lot. I think it's very different from the normal "bump" pic. I had a doctor appointment today and I am not dilated at all, but I am 50% effaced, so at least something is going on down there. Doc does not think I will be having Amy this week, lets hope for next week!!!  On the plus side, I have not gained any weight in a month! Woot!

37 Weeks:)

Yay! I am now full term!!!! Now all we have to do is wait I guess! Had an ultrasound the other day and Amy's amniotic fluid levels are doing great. Up to a 10.5!! My blood pressure was up though so they ran some tests to check for pre-e, but I am fine so it's just something they are going to keep an eye on. So I know for a fact that if I don't have Amy before my due date, I will be scheduled for an induction. So I have only 3 weeks left (or less) till I get to meet her!! I can't wait! I am really starting to get excited now. I have loved being pregnant, and still do, but with how much my back hurts I will be glad to have that pain gone. I have been spending the last few months practically on bed rest. NOT FUN!! But if it means that I will have a healthy baby, then it is worth it. I don't have a bump pic to post as I have not gone anywhere where there is a long enough mirror. Hope to get one soon. Never know when it could be my last bump pic!!

36 weeks

Sorry I have not posted in so long! My back is still bothering me a lot and sitting at the computer makes it worse. So for a quick update:
 I am still pregnant. lol. But I have been having problems with the amniotic fluid levels. They are now being checked every week by ultrasound as they keep going too low. I think I just must not be drinking enough. Amy looks like she is doing well though. She is about 6 lbs and moves quite a lot. I see her practice breathing at every ultrasound and she moves a ton!! I am not quite ready for her to be here though. I still have a lot to get done in the house that keeps being put off because of my back being hurt so bad. I know it will all come together though.

31 week pic and update

So I am 31 weeks pregnant as of today, and I am feeling great. I passed my 3 hour glucose test today!!! YAY!!!! I do have high blood pressure and am on meds for that, and still have a bad back and having to take it easy, but other than that it's going good. I miss being at work tho. I have the most awesome boss that I no longer get to talk to. :( But a healthy baby is what it's all about, right?

Amy is kicking around like crazy now, and I am loving every second of it! So without further ado, here is my newest bump pic. (Taken at motherhood maternity)

She is getting so big!! I got to see her practice suckle and everything! Also she has A LOT of hair, and my nose!!!
